Houston

Set to add more than 17,000 apartment units in 2022, Houston is number 7 among the nation’s 50 largest apartment markets in terms of total units slated for delivery. Additionally, Houston’s population has grown by more than 1 million residents over the last decade.

Atlanta

With strong migration patterns and a low unemployment rate of 2.4% (in comparison to the national average of 4.2%), Atlanta and its surrounding suburbs continue to perform strongly, attracting renters from across the country.

Phoenix/Scottsdale

The market in Phoenix is projected to add nearly 50,000 households in 2022, growing at a pace more than twice as fast as the national average. Included in that increase is 20,800 apartment units – increasing inventory in the market by 5.5%. Not to mention the desire for people from colder climates and more expensive metros yearning for the warmer desert weather.
